He plays like an absolute beast, but just overshadowed by other members of his team. Maybe the Firebirds can rally for playoffs? If they can, I bet that Bitten's gonna take off hard.
MassBostonhttp://find2local.com/listings/swartz-swartz-p-c/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2553903000955128175.post-63013006854666832412015-12-20T08:15:04.437-05:002015-12-20T08:15:04.437-05:00The players for the Top Prospect's Game are se...The players for the Top Prospect's Game are selected by NHL General Managers in conjunction with NHL Central Scouting. Basically, GM's are polled to find out which players they want to see. This is why, sometimes, the rosters do not match up with NHL central Scouting's actual rankings.

40 players are taken in total (20/20), with an attempt at making the teams balanced (players are mixed up).

The OHL usually has around 15 players invited. In fact, the rosters are usually out by now (mid December), so I'm guessing that they will be released incredibly soon (early next week).

Best guess at the OHL players invited...

Jakob Chychrun (lock)
Matthew Tkachuk (lock)
Michael McLeod (lock)
Alex Nylander (lock)
Mikhail Sergachev (lock)
Max Jones (lock)
Olli Juolevi (lock)
Alex Debrincat (lock)

Logan Brown (likely)
Will Bitten (likely)
Nathan Bastian (likely)
Taylor Raddysh (likely)
Dmitri Sokolov (likely)
Sean Day (likely)

Then guys like Mascherin, Niemelainen, Stanley, Mete, Smith, Gettinger, Kyrou, etc, being longer shots.

I would also expect the OHL to have at least one goalie represented (based on the CSS November players to watch list where several OHL goalies were B's). Fitzpatrick from the Q is a lock. Then I'd expect two from the WHL (of Fitzpatrick, Hart, Sawchenko, Sarthou), then one from the OHL (I think Tyler Parsons is most likely, but could also be Cormier, Wells, or Raaymakers).Brock Ottenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08237782074032840702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2553903000955128175.post-32091583642263319902015-12-19T15:48:13.872-05:002015-12-19T15:48:13.872-05:00Brock, how are the players selected for the Top Pr...Brock, how are the players selected for the Top Prospaects game in Januray, and do you have any "best guess" projected rosters?
How many players are selected to each team, and what is the selection process? It would be great to see a top 10 look at guys to watch, before your usual team-by-team breakdown later on in the season. Cheers.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
