  1. Brock, I am really surprised that Stefan Noesen didn't crack any of your lists. In my opinion, he'd be a shoe-in as one of the most improved players this year and could easily crack other lists as well.

He's been one of my favourite players to track this season.

    Good poll! Enjoyed the read.

  2. Brock, as a Spirit fan, you need to change some of those Vincent Trocheck's to Brandon Saad. I'm not sure how you could omit Saad from the entire list. He is better defensively and playmaking than Trocheck. He deserves some Hard Working, Smart and PK consideration too.

  3. Saad didn't make the official list, either. He's going to be a Hawk next year, doesn't it merit for something>

  4. Saad has had a good season and you're right, he'll probably be on the Hawks next year. But I stand by his omission from the list...although I am surprised that he didn't get a nomination at least once.

The big test for him as an OHL player will be in the first round this year. People will be expecting a huge performance from him against Sarnia.

  5. That will be a dandy of a series. Both teams expected to finish high, but they only finished middle-of-the-pack. The amount of talent in that series...oh man..

Yaks, Galchenyuk, Thompson, Spooner, Sarault, Boucher, Rensveldt, Murphy, Brown, Basso, Trochek, Saad, Shalla...wow.

Somehow, I see Brandon getting kept of the scoresheet. I think both top lines will be shut-down but Sarnia prevails because of secondary scoring

5 games, 12 points, and the Spirit lead it 3-2 going to the Dow.

What's your take on his perfomance? I think it's the sole reason Saginaw is even in this
