You guys both know the league better than me because you've seen more of the games, but I have a comment nonetheless, strictly based on the 67s.
I'd be shocked if Anthony Nigro comes out as the top defensive forward/PK forward in the conference. He's not even a regular PK guy in Ottawa, as Couture/Cowick and Nesbitt/Kiriakou are the usual pairings. Nigro rarely plays above the third unit. Moreover, Couture and Kiriakou have been significantly better defensive forwards this year as well, and would both be deserving of being listed as well. It speaks to the 67s depth up front that a responsible forward like Nigro is not being used in that role, but he isn't the best defensive forward or PK guy on Ottawa, that has been fairly obvious in my extensive viewing this winter.
Otherwise though, based on my viewings of the Eastern Conference, I like your guys' picks. Good work!
Great call on John Quarrie-Steady defensemn that can flourish given the right opportunity. Big boy, slick skater, heads up, not afraid to drop the gloves for his teammates...and one of the toughest one on one players this year!!! Imagine 4 years in the OHL, he would be drafted in the show by now...
