Only one prospect for the Ottawa Senators, and that would be their recent 1st round selection.
1. Logan Brown - Windsor Spitfires
Tale of two seasons for Brown. The first half saw inconsistent play that frustrated scouts based on the talent level he possessed. Second half saw the formation of one of the league's most dominant players. No question, he was flat out terrific late in the year. In the final 24 games he had 38 points, including 12 multi point games. That type of production throughout an entire season would elevate Brown into the top 5 of league scoring. And that's what I expect of him next year. He's the complete package offensively (size, skill, skating, vision), and now that he's finally figured out how to use his size to dominate the middle of the ice, the sky is the limit. Still think he should have been drafted higher than 11th, but every other team's loss is Ottawa's gain. The Spitfires will be hosting the Memorial Cup next year and Brown will be insulated with a lot of talent, which will only help his offensive production. I think he cracks the 100 point barrier, and is also a big time factor for the U.S. at the WJC's. Ottawa got a keeper here.
