I recently posted the list of all the award winners in the OHL for the 2008-09 season. However, this award was given out today and I felt it deserved its own post. Terry is the inaugural winner of the award which is given to the captain whom best exemplifies leadership on and off the ice. The Captain's award is obviously named in honor of late Spitfires forward and captain Mickey Renaud.
The Carolina Hurricanes are getting a good one in Terry. Probably one of the best NHL prospects no one talks about.
